Lovers Unite!

Check this out… quantum physicists did an experiment where they lowered the temperatures in a laboratory to absolute zero (-273 deg C!). At this temperature EVERYTHING freezes, even all molecular motion ceases. Then they took all of the matter out of that space to create a complete vacuum. Yet still they discovered that there was energy there. When there was supposedly nothing in the room, and it was too dam cold for anything to move even if there was something in there, there was still some kind of vibrational energy present. This “Zero Point Field” is thought to pervade the entire universe as a kind of base vibration from which all of form arises.

Well, the Lover in me just LOVES this! A field of all pervading energy that everything is connected to? (“But of course” says the Mystic in me…what else would Spirit be dummy?).

Who is "The Lover"?

The archetype of the Lover is so much bigger than romantic love! Yes, the Lover enjoys romance, but as a part of their Love for being alive and the joy of being a vessel for the divine force of Love to flow through their body as they co-create with Source itself.

The Lover relates to the capital L kind of love. What do I mean by that? Small “l” love is the kind that we mostly do as humans. The kind that is experienced only in relation to very specific things “I love you, or that, or them, or this.” We use it like a verb. “I walk” “I eat” I love”. Small “l” love can come and go. Sometimes it can seem more like a noun in that we can use it like currency, something that we can give or take away. There is nothing wrong with this kind of love, it is just very different to the Love that the Lover archetype is connected to.  There really should be two entirely different words for these two different kinds of love.

The Lover is connected to capital L Love as a field of energy that on some level they understand to be the foundational energy of the universe itself (ahem…scientific proof). The Lover experiences this field of Love as it flows through them and absolutely delights in that experience. For the Lover this is the point of being alive. For them it isn’t about the outcome of that flow, but the experience of it, as they simply know that letting this flow move through them will result in the highest possible outcome.

Do we all come from a field of Love?

Quantum physics inquiry and experiment have brought us the understanding that the foundation of the universe isn’t solid matter, but rather fluid fields of energy (vibrations).

What this means scientifically speaking is that EVERYTHING IS ENERGY first. One giant field of energy from which all of material form is created. A field that vibrates with the frequency of capital “L” Love and moves through all of us Lovers as we joyfully engage in a ritual of endless lovemaking with the divinity of life itself.

Yes…I take some liberties with the meanings that I make of the theories of quantum mechanics but hey our entire reality is made up of how we choose to make sense of things!

So for the Lover, Love is always something like water and they are always the banks of this great Love river. Like the banks of the river the Lover holds a physical space for the flow of Love to come through.

And so I say to The Lover in you, please, Love Love Love! This just might be how Spirit makes the form of the world through you. And my goodness friends, we really need to hand control back to Spirit. There are just too many egos too invested in outcomes that have nothing to do with Love trying to run the show here.
