Why hum?
“Hum” (pronounced hoom) is an ancient mantra, arriving with the birth of the universe as the sound that would carry the essence of the vibration of universal oneness (“Om”) from the cosmos into the heart of every sentient being.
The ‘h’ in Hum is the sound of prana (breath/life force energy). The ‘m’ sound is the sound that connects us with non-duality (oneness). The 'oo' sound in Hum is the expression of the descent of Om into the heart, through the conscious breath. Hum brings expansiveness and the possibility for infinite connection into our awareness and physical experience.
In many eastern spiritual traditions the heart is said to be the seat of the soul. The heart centre (“chakra”) is the centre for unconditional love, compassion, and forgiveness. It is the energy we work with to cultivate self-compassion, self-acceptance and self-confidence. It the energy through which the vertical energies that enter the body from the earth and from the sky flow onward into our horizontal plane of existence as abundant hope, joy, and generosity – all different facets of the one energy of love.
My personal and professional mission is TO support the collective return to the field of love BY guiding and empowering individuals to clear old beliefs, heal old wounds AND open up to living in alignment with love SO THAT each soul an be the unique expression of love that it came here to be.
